Germany, the epicentre of Europe’s car manufacturing industry, rolls out another gem from the deep house production line in the form of ‘Space Katzle’ by Motorcitysoul.

This is Motorcitysoul’s second outing on Simple offshoot Aus Music.

Following on from releases by Will Saul and Sian, it seems that melody is an intrinsic part of this exciting label’s make up and ‘Space Katzle’ continues this in fine fashion.

The Original mix is a perfect end-of-the-night record with all the essential ingredients to gain anthem status.

Beautifully textured pads sweep across a metronomic platform of percussion, enveloping the track in a futuristic shimmer.

A twisting chord arrangement urges things forward but it’s the wave of unrelenting melody which propels the listener into pure blissful territory.

For a more modest groove, the Wildpitch Mix ditches the sentimentality in what is essentially a dub of the original.

Jerome Sydenham builds up the momentum on his Blacktro Penetration Mix using an energetic flow with a hint of tribal and hypnotic keys.

He expertly blends in layer upon layer of penetrating low frequencies and effects before culminating in a tweaked up version of the Original’s melody, giving the track a euphoric hands in the air aura.
