On Fabio’s liquid imprint comes one of the most highly anticipated drum & bass releases of the year, ‘Snakefist’.

Having a finely tuned ear and an unworldly technique for discovering new talent and plugging underground releases, Fabio famously pulled out of nowhere Lynx’s ‘Disco Dodo’ track in 2007, which immediately became the record of the year - and it looks like he’s done it again.

‘Snakefist’ is a subtle, rolling tune that drops kung-fu movie samples with surf guitar snippets, and it’s been dropped widely by most of the big scene players.

With so many tracks floating around that bay for instant gratification and focus too much on gimmicks and basslines, it’s refreshing to hear a track that reeks of character and intelligence.

As the track states, “never use the Snakefist unless you must”, which aptly describes the potent destructive effects that ‘Snakefist’ holds.
