We know, we know… we all scream for ice cream—just not as desperately as the punk kids in the reigning king of dubstep’s new video, “Bangarang.” When we introduced Skrillex’s super-punchy, guitar-dappled electro-house stormer to the world last December, we certainly couldn’t have predicted that its accompanying video would condone—nay, glorify—the violent hold-up of an ice-cream truck. But hey, when you leave the Grammys with an armful of trophies, you sort of get to write your own ticket, right?

Okay, back to the “Bangarang” video, which tracks the progressively delinquent actions of a few young hoods as they go from knocking off the aforementioned dessert-mobile to taking out armored vehicles in the years to follow. It all comes full circle when da yoots’ violent run meets its only slightly comforting end, but of course, like the whole of Skrillex’s oeuvre thus far, the clip is still 100% over the top and more than worth a watch. Just remember, kids: Crime doesn’t pay.
