Label head for Infant Records Simon Baker is quickly gaining recognition in the global electronic community and this August will send him on a US tour.

Originally singled out by Playhouse Records back in 2007, Resident Advisor named his huge summer hit ‘Plastik’ third best track of the year.

With influences from Kate Bush to Matthew Dear amongst others, you can expect that this is a man who doesn’t want to be pigeonholed. 

His penchant for deep electronic house and techno can be found on his own Infant Records label, as well as Ralph Lawson’s highly respected 2020 Vision imprint, under his ‘Liptrick’ alias.

In addition to touring with Steve Lawler on a worldwide tour, Simon Baker’s current residencies include Asylum & Technique in Leeds and at DDD in London.

Not wasting any time, 2008 has already found him touring South America, Australia and played Russia, Romania and much of the European DJ circuit, and he’s soon to kick off some North American tour dates later this summer.
