The Canadian dubstep contingent continues to flourish thanks to labels like RFR Digital, bringing new artists out of the shadows is what they do and have been doing since day one. One such artist is ‘ShortOrder’, one of RFR’s newest additions…

Aka Ryan Shumski celebrates his second RFR EP to the sound of his newborn baby who was born this summer. As a father myself I know the challenges a music producer faces when children enter the picture and we wish to congratulate and welcome him to the parent club, VIP section that is.

ShortOrder’s debut EP in spring 2010 ‘Rukas’ introduced him to the global scene and earned him the respect he now carries proudly into 2011. Along with singles on ‘Death By Bass Vol.1’ and a feature on the forthcoming ‘Death By Bass Vol.2’ in December 2010. - Not to mention two of his tracks ‘Krush’ (from this EP) and ‘Containment Fields’ were featured on symphonic distributions #10 Symcast Episode mixed by N.U.D.L.Z.

With all this going on in life, Ryan has done a major job on his new record. Destroying convention and expectation with three cone crushers made from three flavors. Dubstep - Breaks - and the cutting edge sounds of ‘Drumstep’. The money maker on this one is easily ‘Krush’ - a 4x4 has you scratching your head until it builds into an absolute face puller of epic bass line proportions!
