Sheeple - ‘For The People’
3 April, 2008 | 6.40PM- Section: Music News
Sweet Cherry is proud to present the debut release of Sheeple, the hottest production trio to have emerged from Washington, D.C. in recent years.
Comprised of Dave Cortex, Royce Haven, and Mike Haddad, the Sheeple name is already getting respect from some of the biggest players in the industry from just this first release, including Saeed Younan, Kris Menace, Bush II Bush, Low End Specialists, Pablo Ceballos, and many more.
“For The People” is a massive progressive-electro hybrid with huge drums, bass, and heavily layered synths and pads, which are gradually introduced through a complex arrangement complete with key changes.
The David Michael remix takes a different turn, pairing a hypnotic synth line with a deep groovey bass, against the backdrop of minimal drums and accompanying synths.
