This has been out for a couple of months now, but if you haven’t grabbed it yet, what are you waiting for?

There’s barely a dancefloor worth its salt that his masterful touch hasn’t graced in the last fifteen-odd years.

That said, although we know it’s virtually illegal to dislike Carl Craig, there have been some murmurings that this mix-up of his remixes is, well, a bit on the lazy side.

Can’t he just get on with it and do a new album?

The dissenters may have a point, but frankly, I don’t care; there’s more to marvel at in a single Carl Craig remix than many techno artists manage in an entire career.

Almost all of his recent monsters are here (Junior Boys, Faze Action, Rhythm & Sound and Theo Parrish), and his vast back catalogue is suitably represented as well (‘Throw’, ‘Angola’ and ‘Bug In The Bassbin’), making it as comprehensive a collection as you could realistically hope to hear.

For those that have most of these tunes already, it’s a welcome round-up of Carl Craig’s numerous high points.

For those that don’t, it’s a nigh-on essential guide to arguably the greatest remixer techno has ever spawned.
