(aka Ric McCelland) releases follow-up single on UK based Forensic Records
.
Scope has of late seemingly figured out the perfect formula for a solid house record and continues his string of hits with a welcome return to Forensic; second time round dropping the magical and highly danceable “Dark Style Deluxe”
Noted for his no no-nonsense and clear production style; Scope is rapidly acquiring status as a producer to keep a close eye on with distinctive output being consistently championed by dj’s such as Laurent Garnier, Nic Fanciulli and Jimpster.
As follow-up to “Call It Deep”; “Dark Style Deluxe” delivers a very percussive groove with a rather large and club-filling chord arrangement. A huge mix of bright, vibrant and epic synth elements battle, perfectly balanced with a much darker and moody side constantly trying to burst though the dreamy soundscape. The result is a powerful feel good record.
“Lovely Stabby Chord Bizznizz!!!” - Funk D’Void
The second mix comes from Scope’s collaboration partner,
Sean Grieve, who steps up to the challenge and provides a deeper but still energetic remix. Deciding to weave chopped-chords around a smooth blend of builds and drops. A perfect record for early on in the night.
