Scope is Belfast based DJ & Producer Ric McClelland. His Deep & Melodic take on House has been gaining support from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Jimpster, Silicone Soul, Fish Go Deep, Nic Fancuilli plus many other DJ’s and music lover since the release of his massive debut ep “Strung Out”, earlier this year!

Consistently busy in the studio, 2007 is set to be a big year for Ric! Clocking up no less than 6 full eps in as many months, remixing Francois Dubois, Milton Jackson, Dave Robertson & Jon Gurd and Mode Music’s Resoul, Collaborating with Nikola Gala and also finding time to start up a new production venture with fellow Belfast DJ Sean Grieve “The Rise Project”.

First up we give you “Call it deep” which is a real hypnotic groover, with its crisp beats and old school bass line, layered with some seriously twisted synth stabs.
“5 minutes to midnight” takes things deeper whilst keeping a slightly techy francois dubois edge to it with some seriously haunting synths which build into a lush atmospheric break making it the perfect warm up track.
