Sasha forms record label and tours

Sasha [a], originally from North Wales, has created a new record label, emFire [l].

The established DJ and producer, perhaps best known for his legendary DJ sets and projects with John Digweed, is also embarking on a 12 date North American Tour at the end of this week.

emFire will be home to Sasha’s own works along with his collective of co-producers.

“It’s been exciting getting back in the studio again after a hiatus,” says Sasha.

“I am looking forward to using this new imprint as a vehicle to release my own music as well as signing great forward thinking music from other producers.”

Some of his collaborators include Duncan Forbes, Charlie May and Barry Jamieson.

The debut release ‘Coma’ will be available digitally in November. Single-sided etched vinyl will also be issued in limited edition form for all initial releases.

In the meantime, a tour begins this Thursday, September 27th in Austin, Texas.
