Sasha and John Digweed tear up Detroit

Despite the rain and the cold, a good few hundred showed up last night at Clutch Cargo’s club in Pontiac, Michigan.

It wasn’t as busy as some of the other nights on the tour, but the atmosphere was still intense.

“Last night was really good,” says John Digweed.

“I think venue wise and everything else, it was a good show. Everyone that was there was there to see us play.

“The crowd reaction was strong from the word go.”

Backstage last night, Sasha seemed impressed with Clutch Cargo’s.

“It amazes me how different our music sounds on the different soundsystems in venues,” said Sasha.

“Like tonight John is absolutely banging it out, but it sounds so warm and you can hear all the different frequencies.

“In Nashville on Monday it sounded like ‘fumph, fumph, fumph’ but tonight it sounds great.”
