Surely this sound has its roots in Detroit, a brother in the spirit of minimal, but ultimately you get a polished darkness that can only emerge from the north, where the winds howl and the current flows.

Sörus makes choices easily for melancholy, against uniformity.

Strings echo in the distance while the bass drum marches gently on into eternity. Pure unadulterated sounds of the harbour. All you need is here.

Sörus grew up in Cologne, studied in Aix-la-Chapelle, lives in Hamburg now.
