RyRalio DJs return with ‘Sultry Blue’

Building on the success of their recent single ‘Nothing Special’ (including Johnny Fiasco remixes), Lithuania’s best RyRalio DJs present this inimitable, unforgettable single. Sultry Blue is a unique collaboration between the Baltic deep house producers Karalius and Lauris Lee and the Californian singer and lyricist Monica Brooke who was introduced to the boys by the matchmaker Rithma from Om Records. Single includes remixes from Da Sunlounge and Luna City Express.

Emerging from Lithuania Sultry Blue was the No.1 dance music single of 2006 in local radio charts.  The success was quite unsurprising - as the original track had a lazy summer sunshine mood and is deep as the Baltic Sea – the new Mediterranean…

The matchmaker between Monica Brooke and the RyRalio DJs was Rithma from ”Om Records”, who has collaborated with both sides during his impressive career. Monica Brooke has tried out being a musical performer, a member of 4-piece girl r’n’b band and even headlining a rock band in LA, until a “Music Connection” reviewer compared her to Aretha Franklin. She has never looked back then, and has scored numerous collaborations with Rithma, Alan Baratt and is now completing her solo debut album.

For the international release, some special remixes have arrived, including the “Sunset Remix” by the British artist Da Sunlounge. Remix was crafted in one special building in Nottingham, where the artist and fellow masters of deep sound Crazy P and Inland Knights teams share neighbouring studios. Guess who did some SECRET contribution to the remix? And let the deep and kicking beats, euphoric keys by Da Sunlounge make your summer night even more fascinating!

It’s time now for the German sound of 2007, as the duo Luna City Express does some sharp and minimalistic edition to Sultry Blue. The “Sun Remix” was created by Marco Resmann & Norman Weber, famous for the deep and housey attitude, expressed in the much loved new “Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol. 2” compilation.

Finally, there is some fresh and enthusiastic Lithuanian remix gems of Sultry Blue, including the one by a fellow Kaunas producer and one of the most important figures of local house scene Andy Lau. And there is a bona fide progressive reinterpretation of the track by Simuck and Kastis Torrau, which has already find the way into the playlist of DEEP DISH.

Sultry Blue is the universal tale about the Ocean, the Deep and the Summer of Your Life. Enjoy!
