Bloggertronix has posted a first hand account of RQM’s difficulties that arose while touring without a passport.

The Barcelona-based Polish MC, RQM, was on his way to do a show with Jahcoozi when things went terribly wrong during his arrival at the Turkish airport — resulting in confinement.

RQM comments on his stay within Turkish confinement and the chaos that ensued before finally returning to Barcelona.

As I commented on the Beatportal posting about Marco V receiving death threats in Syria post, this is shaping up to be an interesting year for the International DJ scene, which started with Grooverider’s unfortunate turn of events leading up to his serving a four year sentence in Dubai.

RQM’s recent mishap is a good reminder that when traveling to various countries, something as small as forgetting your proper identification can lead to unexpected consequences.
