Beatportal has teamed up with Exceptional Records to find one talented producer to remix The Rogue Element’s breakbeat monster ‘Dead Drummers’. The winning remix will be featured on a forthcoming Rogue release.

You have until September 1st to download the parts to ‘Dead Drummers’ and remix the track into your chosen style.

The winning remix will feature on a full The Rogue Element release, which means your remix could soon be for sale on Beatport.

Competition Rules

1. Download the remix parts to ‘Dead Drummers’ from Beatport - two remix parts are available to download for free.

There’s also a premium package available to download for $4.99 (£3.99) which has all the parts to ‘Dead Drummers’.

2. Remix the track into your chosen style.

3. Send your remix as a 320kbps MP3 (max. file size 20mb) to rogueremix@googlemail.com before September 1st 2007. Entries must include full name, contact details and postal address.

4. Competition entries will be judged by The Rogue Element and Exceptional Records Ltd. whose decision is final.

5. Winning entry will be available on Beatport as soon as is practicable after the winner is announced.

6. Exceptional Records will retain all rights relating to all mixes submitted.

7. Musical parts supplied by Exceptional Records will not be used for any purpose other than for the mix submitted.

8. Competitors agree that they have full and unencumbered copyright to all musical parts (other than those supplied by Exceptional Records) which are used in their remix and confirm they are not infringing any third party copyright.

9. By taking part in the competition participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to all the above terms and conditions.
