Robert Hood interviewed about Fabric mix
20 March, 2008 | 4.14PM- Section: Music News Topics: Beatport Blog
Detroit techno hero Robert Hood is one of the scene’s most important producers, and as part of the legendary Underground Resistance crew he’s also one of the most influential.
Robert Hood’s mix compilation for Fabric has just dropped and Xlr8r.com has an interesting interview with Robert Hood.
On London’s Fabric club Hood said: “A lot of places I’ve played were clubs with techno themes or techno nights. In my opinion, Fabric is a techno discotheque. Fabric gives techno artists a forum to come in and focus on the dancer, and not entirely on the DJ’s performance.”
