It feels like a little while since we had a real monster from Freude Am Tanzen, but the wait is over – Wighonmy Brother Wruhme teams up with Rolf Oksen here for a truly delirious wollop of raging minimal techno. 

Seeing as Wruhme was one of the first artists to really work the ‘bitcrusher’ sound that’s now so common, it’s good to hear him taking it to the next level on ‘Hakkatzen’ with constantly bristling, FX heavy riffage that basically shows everyone how to do it properly.

‘Dopamin’, which is a brilliant slice of modern techno, features a whopping speed garage-sounding bassline, before dropping down into a harmonically-twinged break.

Make no mistake, this is a huge EP.
