Riton & Serge Santiago to mix ‘We Love…Ibiza’

Up and coming UK DJs Riton and Serge Santiago will mix We Love’s first ever compilation ‘We Love...Ibiza’. We Love are the crazy promoters who organise Space Ibiza’s infamous 22-hour parties each and every Sunday, so this is a huge coup for the lads.

We Love is arguably the highest profile event on the island.

“I jack to the sound of the underground,” explained Riton about his style of DJing. Both Riton and Serge Santiago first visited Ibiza just last summer, when they played for We Love at Space.

They impressed the promoters so much, that they were asked to become resident DJs for the 2007 season, and now they’ve been asked to mix the party crew’s first ever CD.

‘We Love...Ibiza’, out in July on Ministry Of Sound (Germany) Recordings, is a double-CD mix compilation and will feature exclusive tracks produced by the boys as well as some of the grooviest electro and house currently doing the rounds in clubland.

Both artists produced a track especially for the mix - Serge Santiago ‘R2D2’ and Riton ‘Sound of the Studio’.

Tracks by Yello, Moko, Tiga, Kenny Hawkes and Shonky also feature on the compilation.

Serge Santiago joked about the compilation: “Slip it on, you might like it.”
