Riley Reinhold, aka Triple R, has never made a secret of his sensitive side. While the labels he runs—Traum, Trapez, MBF and their seemingly limitless offshoots—run the gamut of house and techno, Reinhold’s own music tends to be more contemplative, with lush acoustic samples nesting in the mix like moss on twigs. That’s certainly true of “Needleleaf,” a moody, early-evening track that’s washed with the scent of cool, mountain air.
