Who are you?
I’m just a guy that is doing what I love most in the world, creating music! I’ve always had a beating rhythm within me ever since I was a toddler.  Everyone always asks “did you start djing or producing first”, but my story is different than most.  I started messing around with audio editing programs when i was a teenager, making my own edits of songs I liked, then I got into DJing, and got completely consumed in that.  REALLY consumed, I perfected mixing, in many styles, I even got into turntablism.  I was quite the trickster with all the gear and FX.  Then, later down the road, after I gained complete control of the stuff I mixed, was when I wanted to go beyond that and start creating the stuff I mixed.  I grew up in a family that didn’t have much money & luxury, and it was always my goal in life to completely flip that upside down, go to college and make a career for myself.  Making music was just something I loved to do on the side.  Then about a year ago, was when I went through a pretty rough time in my life, and call me crazy, but some sort of force went through my body and I felt the words “you need to forget everything else and make music”.  At that point, I took the leap, walked away from everything in my life I truly didn’t care about, like a really good paying job, and just locked myself in my studio for several weeks.  I introduced my new name “Revolvr” and hit the ground running with a completely fresh sound.  That’s when I made Beats Inside My Head, and things pretty much skyrocketed from there.  Now I have worked with amazing artists like Spencer & Hill, Donald Glaude, Lazy Rich, and now working on something for Morgan Page at the moment.  It’s truly exciting and self fueling inspiration to see that the moment I put 100% of my focus on something that I loved, it’s really showing! 

Highlight of 2011?
One of my biggest highlights from 2011 was when my remix of Beats Inside My Head and my original Warface both hit the Electro House Top 10 at the same time. 

What can we look forward to in 2012?
Up until now you’ve mostly been hearing my remixes but in 2012 I’m planning to focus more on originals.  I’m also hoping to have enough original material by this upcoming summer to release an album.
