Requests from hell

This is officially the greatest blog in the world: No Breasts No Requests, a Tumblr collection of some of the best/worst DJ requests ever. Scrawled on napkins, coasters, receipts, torn-off beer labels, dollar bills (whole and torn in half), they run the gamut from adoration to wheedling to flat-out abuse. Most of it, predictably enough, is just garden-variety cluelessness, like Paris Hilton’s list of top 40 hits (with the stipulation that the DJ play only originals, no remixes). And then there are the notes that really make you wonder, like this one:

“Dear Leon, Can you pls play Backstreet Boys + East 17. They’re my fav. P.S. I have herpes. ♥ Ally.”

Something to think about next time someone passes you a scrap of paper in the booth…
