Remix Hollywood film score!
23 August, 2007 | 7.50AMBeatportal has teamed up with Lionsgate Films to find one talented producer to remix the opening music to their new action movie WAR, starring Jet Li and Jason Statham. This is your chance to remix a major Hollywood film score!
The original film score [listen to it in the player below] was produced by Brian Tyler whose previous work includes The Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift, and Bug.
For the opening music to WAR, Brian Tyler directed the London Symphony Orchestra to create a thrilling combination of orchestral music and dark progressive breaks.
There are three remix parts to download including the London Symphony Orchestra sample.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a Pocket Pod guitar amp and effects emulator and get their remix released on Beatport.
And best of all Lionsgate’s A&R team will be listening to all of the remixes so this is a great opportunity for DJs and remixers to show off their talents.
Which means, the winners of the contest will have a shot to be heard by the music supervisors at the biggest indie film and TV studio in the world.
