‘Reflections - Volume 2’ deep and under ground
29 November, 2007 | 4.38PMFeralCode Records
is back with its ‘Reflections’ series featuring ten tech and progressive house tracks unmixed.
After the successful release of “Reflections - the deep sounds of progressive” last year, FeralCode Records continues its Reflections series with its second instalment. This unmixed compilation features ten tech and progressive house tracks from various artists, in most cases debut releases. “Reflections 2 - deep, under ground” features tracks from mostly fresh artists, varied in style, it is a journey from techno to melodic peak time house.
“I’m really impressed with this second instalment in the Reflections series which has a whole bunch of music that take it to the next level while also pushing that bit deeper underground with some adventurous and exciting sounds. Tracks from Gabuci
, Jozef Kugler
, Marrakech
, Ned Hobbs
& Style Clash
stand out for me and possibly the gem is from M’Ocean, Michael’s track ‘Forgotten rivers’ has a wholesome phatness to it that gives it an extra edge. Overall the compilation brings us through various moods and feelings while staying rooted in the deeper side. Well done to all involved & congratulations to FeralCode Records on reaching another benchmark in its existence.” - Brian Cody
