‘Uplifting and emotional’ is how rising UK trance star Sophie Sugar describes her music, and if you like driving, euphoric trance, chances are you’ll like ‘Redemption’.

As a producer, Sophie’s all about the melody – she writes the melody first and bases the track around it – but it’s the bouncing bass line that stands out with ‘Redemption’. 

It’s an energetic track with two breakdowns that leave you wanting more, but it’s the heavier remix from Sebastian Brandt which is favoured by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Sean Tyas.

Sebastian Brandt’s mix is currently at number 24 in the Beatport charts, with the original mix charting at number 27, and previous releases by Sophie have also featured on Beatport’s trance top 100.

Being Greg Downey’s fiancé, it’s no wonder she’ll rework a track until it’s just right, and the trance anthem quality of ‘Redemption’ is a clear demonstration that she is a perfectionist.
