Sean Biddle is known for producing some of the dirtiest, sexiest House beats in the states. He currently resides in Chicago, IL and had just released Sean Biddle - My Thang Vol. 1 on Red Session Records. The track “Chitown Thang” has hit the Top 30 on the Beatport House chart recently.

In House music, there are countless artists who have come and gone, but we have seen you around for many years, what is your background and what drives you to continue to make this music?

My background started out originally in high school making
music...from there i found the fave scene in Denver in 95 and started my
hand at makin dance music...but not until the last 5 years or so have i
really felt like I’ve come into my own style and sound.
As for what drives me to make music, its in my soul, it keeps me
grounded to reality, if i wasn’t making music i don’t know where id be!!!

What makes you different from other producers in the House music scene?

I think what makes me different is my sound...I’ve worked very hard
to make the Biddle sound distinct and original on the production side of
things…

Considering the My Thang Vol. 1 success, do you see yourself continuing the My Thang Volumes?

-BID
Honestly, My Thang Vol. 1 is just the beginning, i have Vol. 2 and 3 ready to go!!!  so keep your ears out for them soon…

What guilty pleasure(s) do you enjoy most besides make dirty sexy beats?

-BID
Other than my dirty sexy beats, my guilty pleasure and habit lol,
would have to be weed...i love smokin’ the herb!  thats all ill say about
that!!

Do you work with other producers/dj’s?

-BID
Currently the only producers that i work with are nique from nine
records and Mike Gillenwater from High Caliber and The Funk Monkeys...we go
by the name of xtra-agenda, catch our music exclusively on Nine Records....

We here at Red Session love to talk about the craft of producing. What sort of programs, plug-in’s and or hardware do you use the most?

-BID
I am proud to say that i use a mac g5 and logic 7.0...as for vsts,
i have over 20 vst keyboards plugs and fx, but i have to keep some
things secret!!!
