Ready to Audio Fly with some ‘4 Play’

Remember Hungry, Hungry Hippos – the unofficial “Best Game In The World” – that always seemed to end with frustrated players upturning the board and smashing it against the kitchen floor?

Well, we’ve got a better alternative to Sunday afternoons that, unlike Hungry, Hungry Hippos, can cater for more than four players.

Now might seem like a good time to crack some “foreplay” jokes, but, quite frankly, I can’t be asked.

I’m here to tell you that I love the ‘4 Play’ track on the EP of the same name by Audiofly X a hell of a lot.

It’s a minimalist masterpiece, with a quirky, hypnotic groove, tightly worked bass and a lead melody that sounds like a glitch in your computer’s soundcard.

If it’s good enough for Booka Shade’s Get Physical label, it’s good enough for Beatport.

Techno, minimal and tech house freaks best not miss this, or risk being crushed by an airborne hippo conjured by Tarzan himself.
