Rainer Weichhold and Boundzound: Jerk Chicken

Rainer Weichhold switches it up with his new single for Kling Klong. ”Jerk Chicken” rides the line between punchy house and full-on ska. And while we wouldn’t normally condone such shenanigans, Weichhold pulls off the perfect balance between the two styles, aided and abetted by the vocalist Boundzound, of German reggae crew Seeed.

The single is out now, exclusively on Beatport, featuring a Carnival-friendly remix from Dapayk and a tougher, peak-time interpretation from Steve Mac, as well as an instrumental dub version. Check it out here.
