Radioplastic ‘Modern Age’ out now on Beatport
11 March, 2008 | 2.56PM- Section: Videos
British three-piece Radioplastic are a talented trio who have been playing, producing and performing under various guises for several years - most notably in their previous incarnation as Burly, who received a nomination for best dance newcomer at the Welsh Music Awards 2002, and who also secured a place in the Radio 1 Unsigned Top Ten.
Having taken the UK underground dance scene by storm, the guys have released a number of singles for London based independent label Exceptional Records under the Radioplastic moniker. New single Modern Age hits like an electronic tidal wave, combining an epic riff with fierce chunky rhythms that are impossible to ignore - with an occasional vocal part providing some apposite comments on the world we live in.
The package includes a reworking from soon to be superstars Napt, tipped for great things this year in the world of breaks, feature on remix duties. This version has also been generating some serious heat, and recently has been lurking around the summit of Beatport’s breaks chart!
Also included in the package is a tasty floor-filling progressive house remix from the up-and-coming Exotica, and a twisted techno offering from Plume.
