Psytox presents new release “Margie Killed Ray Van Mechelen” and label showcase at Tomorrowland.

Coincidence Records [l] label boss Psytox next release is due to come out end of February on Beatport, and is a serious techno stomper. But it’s also a project ‘with a little help from my friends’, as it was mastered by Tom Hades [a] and Soren Aalberg did the remix. But that’s not all…

Psytox goes further on the path of techno with an oldskool feel that already became more pronounced on his previous release on Coincidence Records [l]. “Margie Killed Ray Van Mechelen” is a hard techno stomper with a serious oldskool feeling to it, building to a brutal bitcrushed peak, but ending in melancholy. It was remastered pretty brilliantly by good friend Tom Hades [a] who gave the raw energy of the original just an extra bump.

Soren Aalberg (Girafe Sauvage, Bedrock [a]) already did a very good release on Coincidence before, and recently remixed Marco Bailey [a] on the insanely huge Bedrock label. He used the elements of the original to make a slightly darker yet still hard hitting version.

You can check out the Soundcloud spot of Coincidence Records [l] for previews, the release date is 28th february on Beatport. Find it here:

Additional remixes are also being cooked up and will probably hit the stores near the summer, so far you can expect mixes by Kretipleti (a project by Donk Boys [a]‘ Thomas Jaldemark ), Andre Lanine (Silenced netlabel) and Psytox’ techno hero Jeroen Search [a]!

There was more good news though, as Coincidence Records [l] was recently offered a stage on the insanely huge Tomorrowland festival which will take place on 24 and 25 July 2010 in Boom (Antwerp, Belgium). A real honor as the other stages are populated with good folks from labels like Ovum, Cocoon, Minus, Cadenza and more. The line-up will consist of the label’s regular artists although the actual names still remain a well kept secret for now.
