Porter Robinson kicks off Skrillex’s OWSLA + gives away NI gear

Skrillex officially launches his new label OWSLA this week, and young gun Porter Robinson has the honor of taking its maiden voyage. Spitfire features six new originals from the Chapel Hill, NC producer, ranging from the epic dubstep of the title track to the jagged electro house of “Unison”; “100% in the Bitch” is a woozy Moombahton banger. “Vandalism,” featuring Amba Shepherd, shows off a softer (but no less pumping) side, and “The State” and “The Seconds,” featuring Jano, blow the lid off. Remix from Knife Party, Mikkas, Downlink, Skism and Kill The Noise round out the set with equally epic forays into electro house, dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass.

To celebrate the release, Robinson and Native Instruments are offering his fans something special. From now until September 26, forward your Beatport email purchase receipt of the entire Spitfire release to , and you’ll be entered in a drawing for killer NI schwag.* The grand-prize winner receives a Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S4, and three runners up will each receive a Traktor Audio 2 soundcard and Traktor Duo 2 software. Robinson and his management say that winners will be announced on September 27.

See Robinson’s Facebook page for details on the contest, and get the whole release as a specially-priced album bundle here, exclusively on Beatport.
