The stage for the Beatport Pool Party is coming along very nicely.

When we first heard that the stage would be over The National’s top pool we were a little perplexed about what it might look like, however now that we’ve seen it in beta, it makes total sense.

The stage is about three times the size of last year’s stage which means, should we allow it, that plenty more people can dance on the stage which always creates more tension and atmosphere.

What’s more, the front of the pool is still a little exposed so potentially a few people down in the front could actually dance whilst in the water (only good-looking folks, please).

Because the stage is on top on the pool instead of being in front of it, there’s loads more room for the crowd, so less chance of there being any traffic jams near the bar. The sound should hopefully be clearer too, as it won’t be bouncing off the bar.

All in all, it’s looking very likely this could be the best Beatport Pool Party ever.

All we need is a few of the world’s most exciting DJs (check), some sunshine (please) and a crowd of ardent electronic music fans up for a party (that’s you).
