In the first episode of ‘Rush Hour’ for 2009, Christopher Lawrence is proud to introduce Magnus, a trance prodigy from Seattle whom recently released his first single on Pharmacy Music.

“The reason that I started my radio show ‘Rush Hour’ and label Pharmacy Music is so that I could give undiscovered artists like Magnus an opportunity to get their music out there. I have aways championed the underground sound and without fresh young producers and DJs like Magnus, trance would have gotten stale for me a long time ago” says Christopher Lawrence.

Originally from Maryland, Magnus has called Seattle home for the past 8 years. Returning briefly for a time back to the east coast in 2008, Magnus met fellow producer Jay Selway where the duo produced several releases and forged a solid partnership.  With releases on Pharmacy, J00F, Audacious, and several appearances on CD releases by Ministry of Sound and Moist Music, 2008 has been a big year for Magnus.  

Magnus also found success in 2008 with releases on Discover under his other alias, Michael Lee.  With major support from Christopher Lawrence and with several releases on the way and many in the works, 2009 will undoubtedly be an even bigger year for Magnus.  Stay tuned in the new year as we follow the success of this rising star.

In exciting news, Rush Hour has now been syndicated on MAS FM in Texas Valley, as well as Tamaulipas, CD. Reynosa and Rio Bravo México. Add this to our new FM stations in Brazil and Canada and you can now find Rush Hour on almost ninety FM affiliates worldwide.
