Plump DJs announce four-deck live show

Britain’s breakbeat masters the Plump DJs have announced plans to tour this summer with a new live show that incorporates not two, but four decks.

The Plumps have always played back to back at gigs, but now they feel it is time to inject some more creativity into their DJ sets.

“We have been performing tag team style for ten years now and want more from the experience,” claimed Lee Rous and Andy Gardner.

“The use of four Pioneer CDJs ultimately means that we can be more creative with our mixing and provide a truly original experience.

“By making most of the music that we play and combining it with our own re-edits and effects we hope to set new standards for DJ and producer duos worldwide.”

The Plump DJs new four-deck live show coincides with the upcoming release of their new album ‘Headthrash’, and it’s expected the pair will play loops, effects and re-edits of tracks from the LP when they DJ, so that every live show will be different.

The Plumps continued commitment to providing an entertaining live show has got them a headline slot at We Love Sundays at Space in Ibiza at the end of July, which is the first time any breakbeat DJs have claimed the hallowed slot.

The duo will also take their four deck show to Korea, Hong Kong, Poland and Fabric in London.
