Plastikman gets Nostalgik

Minus goes down memory lane by recalling some classic Plastikman cuts — ‘Spastik’ and ‘Panikattack’ from the mid-1990s — with new interpretations by Dubfire and Guido Schneider on ‘Nostalgik.3’.

Apparently, the two remixes were unsolicited but too intriguing to be denied.

First, on ‘Spastik (Dubfire Rework)’, Dubfire (AKA Ali Shirazinia of Deep Dish fame) gets a hold of the cut to add some respected emphasis and finesse to the original rhythm pattern.

Schneider’s Second Attack Remix of the ‘Sickness’ b-side ‘Panikattack’ is darker and more updated in its atmospherics.

‘Nostalgik.3’ is the third in the ‘Nostalgik’ series, and hits Beatport on November 15th.
