For this week’s interview Pete talks with Andy Cato and Tom Findlay of Groove Armada, who’ve recently come to the end of ten years on a major label and are now looking to put out music in a non-traditional way. They’re not necessarily interested in giving away their music for free, but in a way that promotes conversation and hype about what they do via word of mouth.  In that vein, they’ve found a way to do just that on a site called bliveshare.com, where the more you share music with your friends, the more music you get.  The EP you can find at bliveshare.com comes in two parts, with one of the tunes representing the rock ‘n’ roll side of their sound which will also be represented in an album they are currently wrapping up. Also watch out for a house album out later this year, as well as Ibiza and Australian tour dates.
