Pete Tong Fast Trax 16th May 2008

On Fast Trax this week, Pete shares a video from the Japanese Popstars called ‘Delboy’s Revenge’.

There’s also an Upfront Tune from Guy Gerber entitled, ‘Disorientation’.

There are three Bedroom Bedlam cuts from Dean Mathews, Fernando Lopez and this week’s No.1 track by Fraser Quartz. Bedroom Bedlam features 3 unsigned tracks selected by Pete each week from submissions sent to his MySpace page. You can listen to the No. 1 Bedroom Bedlam track for free for one week’s time on the Fast Trax website, and also vote for next week’s top Bedroom Bedlam track. As reported recently on Beatportal, the new Bedroom Bedlam label is currently available exclusively on Beatport.

You’ll find The Remix from Sander Van Doorn, reinterpreting Sia’s ‘The Girl You Lost’.

Then there’s the world exclusive Big Interview on Fast Trax with Positiva label head Jason Ellis who talks about the label’s celebration of their 15th anniversary and the release of their anniversary album, ‘Essential Club Anthems’.  He discusses a bit of his history prior to taking over Positiva Records in 2001, and also touches on highlights of the past years, including the media battle between Posh Spice and DJ Spiller.  He also shares some of his favorites from the Positiva catalog, like Shapeshifters and ‘Flawless’ by The Ones. Finally, he talks about current projects, releases, as well as the upcoming European festival season.

Playing in the background of the Big Interview, we heard Body Crash and Axwell‘s ‘I Found You’ (Original Mix).
