Paul van Dyk remix contest winners!

Last month’s Paul van Dyk remix contest saw over 500 aspiring producers remix PvD and Giuseppe Ottaviani’s single ‘Far Away’, with the top 15 remixes as voted for by the public having been sent to Paul.

A further 20 remixes were chosen by Beatport, and Paul van Dyk made the final decision as to which remix would make it onto his label Vandit Digital.

A winner and two runners-up have been chosen, and all three will be released on Vandit Digital shortly.

Mateo Murphy’s remix is a driving progressive trance remix, and Paul has already played the remix on his radio show.

Mateo Murphy has released music on record labels such as Underwater, Thinner and Turbo, and he’s also worked with Tiga.

As well as having his remix released on Vandit, Mateo Murphy also walks away with a Pacemaker (portable DJ mix system), $100 in Beatport credit and a copy of Ableton Suite (including Ableton Live 7, Sampler, Operator, Electric, Analog, Tension, Drum Machines, Essential Instrument Collection 2 and Session Drums).
