Harmonious Discord Recordings is proud to announce that the seventh in our series of releases from producers we feel stretch sound to the outer-realms of sonic invention.

Patchen Preston is a well seasoned production staple in the Dallas music scene and has been part of many musical projects over the past 10 years including bands like MFH and solo works featured on Om record’s compilation ‘Om Lounge 10’.  Many of you are no stranger to this mans musical style and warm vibes.  In this release patchen debuts his power as a tech house force. 

Pale Blue Dot is a Detroit style melodic workout that chugs with energy and opens to an intricate synthetic word-play.  Madrid follows with a chiller vibe, beach morning friendly and dubby to the max!  The real star on this Ep appears on the B side with a Techno/Electro House dancefloor bomb called Motion.  It’s name explains the pace of the track, lots of synth tweaks and effect trills add a quirky element while the bass line insures that hips will move.
