Paris Hilton DJ Chart

Celebrity queen Paris Hilton got in touch with Beatportal recently to let us know what her favourite trance tracks were.

“So like, jail was a very traumatic experience for me,” Paris said.

“But I had my trance music to get me through it. I could just, you know, like trance out.”

Paris’ top 10 DJ chart is mainly filled with classic trance cuts from back in the day.

“Before I was this big celebrity person, I used to love going to raves and checking out DJs like ATB and Tiesto,” she said.

“So I chose mainly classic trance records.”

“ATB’s ‘9pm Till I Come’ reminds me of the good old times when I could wear fluffy leg warmers and wave glowsticks without some photographer taking photos and seeing it the newspapers the next day.

“Ferry Corsten’s remix of Art of Trance ‘Madagascar’ is one of the greatest instrumental trance tracks ever written I think, it’s so powerful in the breakdown.”

Classic trance tracks Three Drive ‘Greece 2000’, Motorcycle ‘As The Rush Comes’, and Blank & Jones ‘Cream’ also feature in Paris’ chart.

“Chicane’s ‘Don’t Give Up’ was particularly important for me when I was locked up, like the lyrics meant so much to me,” Paris revealed.

“I also chose DJ Slipmatt’s edit of ‘On A Ragga Tip ‘97’ because I like to rock out to that with my friend Nicole when we’re by ourselves.”

[In 2004, Paris was crowned Best Celebrity DJ at the Dancestar Awards, so we thought we’d take the piss. This is a fake Paris Hilton DJ chart and article. No, Paris didn’t get in touch with us.]
