Mindshake returns with an impressive label debut from Italian Lorenzo Bartoletti, the Safe and Sound EP (MINDSHAKE016). Bartoletti was previously featured on Mindshake’s Forward Part II and now is give the opportunity to flex his production prowess across three tracks, plus a remix from M_nus recording artist Barem. Mindshake continues to deliver on its promise to develop the most innovative of artists while providing the world with a first-class experience in contemporary electronic music culture.

Solid Cluster (Original Mix) (7:06)
A harder edged tech-house workout that employs perfectly timed vocal samples and tribal percussion to great effect. The intricate sound design and detailed percussion progressions elevate this track from typical DJ tool status.

Slight Needles (Original Mix) (6:28)
For Lorenzo’s second outing on his debut Mindshake EP, he emerges from the deep end and delivers a chunky and bouncy tribal cut. ‘Vibrate’ to the heavy bass indeed.

Late Night Cab (Original Mix) (6:25)
Italian tastemaker, DJ and producer Lorenzo Bartoletti goes deep on the A-side with sexy female vocal murmurs, blurry synths and a deep house groove. While it utilizes contemporary production values, the track still has an analog sheen offering perfect flexibility to mix with both the old and the new.

Slight Needles (Barem Remix) (6:37)
M_nus recording artist Barem makes his inaugural appearance on Mindshake and drops a seriously funky bassline. The hypnotic loops and efx of the remix streamlines some of the tribal aspects of the original into a minimal tech house burner.
