ABOUT THE RELEASE

After building a name for himself on the drum’n’bass scene with over 20 releases under the moniker kr4y, Willem Borgesius is going full circle and returning to his first music love - techno. The Baas EP presents the genre in its best light, these are four heavy duty tracks fitting in every kind of techno DJ set, be it minimalistic or full-on. This is techno with balls and brains, so it would be irresponsible of us to talk to much. Crank up the volume and put your party face on!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Willem Borgesius was born in the Netherlands and grew up listening to techno and hip-hop. In 2002 he moved to Bristol UK and studied Creative Music Technology. Since then he released over 20 drum and bass tracks under the alias kr4y. After leaving a permanent mark on the d’n’b scene with releases on Venom Inc, Temper D Productions, Extent, Perkussiv, Insekto, Section8, T3K, Tilt, Beat Addiction, HMSU, Internet, Wayside and Qu-beats he decided to take a short break and find out what he really wants to do.

He decided now is a fine time to go back to his first love of dance music - Techno.
