Every week an Ora Recordings artist will answer questions part of the Q10 interview.

This week: Remot.

1) Tell us more about yourself. Where are you from?
I’m Igor and I’m from Krasnodar south of Russia.

2) How long have you been involved with music?
In 2001 i came in contact with the first music program.

3) How did you get started in music?
I bought my first PC and I was trying to create noise.

4) Who are your influences or your favourite artists?
I loved Dream Dance compilations, 15 years ago I started listening to trance music.
I started listening to Paul Oakenfold, BT and Tiesto and I fell in love with trance music.

5) Tell us about your relationship with Ora Recordings.
I know Gabriel Batz from his productions, but I’did not know that Gabriel was the owner Ora Recordings. I added Ora to my friends
on Myspace and was pleasantly surprised, when Gabriel offered me a record deal.

6) What studio gear do you use in order to create your music?
I use mostly Cubase to produce and master my music.

7) Do you rely on software or hardware?
I use a midi keyboard CME and studio monitors Event TR8.

8) In what direction do you see the music industry going in the next years?
Digital, digital, digital

9) What are your views and opinions on downloads and file sharing?
It’s good promotion for artists, but it reduces break-even sales levels in digital stores.

10) What are you future music plans (gigs, radio shows, releases, current projects)?
I’m starting my radioshow Wavecatcher on Danceradio.gr, I am always full of plans, many remixes and tracks planned for 2009.
