“On Friday, Fabric was terrible”

Zack Rico, our resident blogger in London, went to Fabric in Faringdon last Friday and said he was appalled by what was being played in Room 1.
“I went there to see the Scratch Perverts play, but about 30 minutes before they came on in the main room the music was terrible.
“The DJ playing before them was playing the most cringing commercial r & b and hip hop.
“Dr Dre, Snoop, Missy Elliott, and I’m 90% sure that Nelly Retardo was in there somewhere as well.”
Zack said the Scratch Perverts were pretty uninspiring, but Marcus Intalex in Room 3 more than made up for the triviality going on in the main room.
“I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when that music came on,” continued Zack.
“Considering Fabric is meant to be the most cutting-edge and inspiring club musically in Britain, it was highly disappointing. Shocking.”
