Oliver Morgenroth has been a well known figure in the German electronic scene since the early 1990’s. His body of work is expansive and includes many major label appearances on Sony, BMG and ZYX. He produced several of Tom Novy’s early releases including ‘The Odyssey’ which was top ten in almost every major dance music chart in the world and also ‘Moyonga’ the rave and cruise 97 anthem.

In recent years the majority of Oliver’s productions have appeared on Jetlag Digital and one of his early works for the label was the ‘40 Waves EP’ which was released in November of 2008. It contained two versions and was one of Jetlag’s biggest releases of that year. For the tenth release on Carsten Million’s ‘Hyline Music’ Oliver has updated ‘40 Waves’ for today’s dancefloor sensibilities. Oliver’s new version kicks off with growling bass tones and a wide array of clattering drums that give it an amazing widescreen feel and a true festival vibe. The ethnic inspired melodic elements that are used ever so sparsely only add to the massive open air sound. Deeply soulful music from Oliver and one his best overall productions to date.
