G Riedatz is back in the production chair but with a new name and a new game.

Although his “Mode” track on Timbee was a huge success in the minimal chart hitting no. 1 spot - the kid from Swansea decided to change his name, his sound and hook up with Noir Music to live the techno dream.

Although G Riedatz was riding high in the download charts and gaining support from the likes of Groove Armada, D Ramirez & Joachim Gerraud he decided to change the name and the sound.
Gareth Riedatz changed from a “minimal outfit” to a very impressive “techno suit”. But not only did he change his sound - the new name to look out for is: Oliver Dahl.

His first offering on Noir Music called “Rien” is already gaining massive support from the likes of: Axwell, Martin Eyerer, Audiojack, Chris Lake, Tom Novy and the list goes on.

Noir (headhoncho of Noir Music) says:
“I fell in love from first listen - so well produced. This new sound fits Gareth so well. I’ve had the pleasure of playing a gig with him and this new techno vibe is much more his area.... so i guess i kinda understand his need to change it all.”

According to Noir this “new sound” is up there with Dubfire, Shlomi Aber and Oxia. So the new name to watch for in 2009 is Oliver Dahl and although “Rien” just got its release - the follow up is ready to go in early 2009.
