Oil tanker wreck open to Ibiza’s divers
19 July, 2008 | 11.45AMIn July 2007 a 140m long oil tanker sank off the coast of Ibiza causing untold damage to the island’s coastline, but now the wreck is open for divers to explore.
The Don Pedro was carrying more than 200 tonnes of oil from Ibiza’s port when it hit the small island of Isla de Daus and sank to a depth of 43m.
It’s nice to see that something good has come of the catastrophe.
