Gramatik Fall Tour 2009:  US Tour starts in Austin, TX on November 11th and ends in Athens, GA December 5th 2009. 17 dates confirmed in 17 different cities across the US. Here to promote his upcoming album, “Street Bangerz Vol. 2”, on Cold Busted, this will be his first time to the US. On selected dates he is the supporting act for Pretty Lights and Glitch Mob.

Gramatik’s trip-hop/instrumental hip-hop live-act performance is a vivid representation of his own production enriched with many real time elements, such as percussion loops, sound effects and pre-recorded vocals, while all accompanied by strategically placed scratching by JK Soul.

Signed to Cold Busted in 2008, Gramatik has gained worldwide success with his album debut, “Street Bangerz Vol. 1” released on December 3rd of 2008. Within days the 20 track release went straight to the top of Beatport’s Chill Out genre chart. You can still find a number of tracks in the top 10 spots a year later.

By no means should you label him as “Chill Out”. Gramatik’s Street Bangerz Vol. 1 features raw and cutting edge Hip Hop beats, inspired by the classical soulful 70s with strong and warm sounds that make it the ultimate Street Soul of today.

December 3, 2009 marks the date of his return with “Street Bangerz Vol. 2”. The 19 track album will be released exclusively on Beatport for the first 8 weeks. The album will be available on all other stores January 28, 2010.
