‘Nocturnal Creatures’ special Halloween release

Denver, Colorado, also known as the Mile High City, was the birthplace of Beatport
nearly five years ago. Orange peel is a multimedia performance artist and entertainment magazine editor who’s been religiously profiling Denver’s club scene since long before the download domain’s official launch. He’s also been making music with area producers PJ Stroller
& Satori.C (known collectively as Friends in Stereo) for nearly as long.
Throwing the first ever Beatport
release party in 2004, for a Friends in Stereo remix of his track “Jesus was an alien Magician,” is a claim to fame he’s proud of.
“Nocturnal Creatures,” his first proper release in nearly four years, is finally seeing the light of day this month courtesy of Milehighhouse
Recordings. The original was produced by Friends in Stereo, and both individual producers contributed their own re-rubs. Dennis Roseth
, of Denver’s successful Twenty40 collective, put his own spin on the track as well.
“We are Nocturnal Creatures; we come out at night.
It doesn’t make us bad people, we’re just allergic to the light.”

Lyrics that most clubbers can relate to give “Nocturnal Creatures” immense potential. Do I smell a potential anthem? You be the judge.
