Some people didn’t know LOW PRESSINGS was back; well we are. BIGGER AND BETTER than ever before!

Release number 100 is in the very capable hands of Mr Nick Muir [a], a talented and renowned producer with one of the strongest production backgrounds in the UK.
Here we have an unheard classic (by some) under his Monumental moniker presenting a hands in the air-groovy-tech-beat yerself up on the dancefloor-saxtastic hit!
With remixes from Matt Rowan [a], Nils Hess & Henry Cullen, Luke Solomon [a], Flow [a] and new live act Projekt Inertia (debut album out soon) - DJ’s will have to peel floor participants off the ceiling and clean the remains with a mop and bucket!

THIS IS OUR SUMMER HIT & WILL UNDOUBTEDLY BE AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST!

Interesting Nick Muir facts:

-Nick is best known for his work as a producer of electronic dance music both on his own and as one half of the Bedrock production team with DJ John Digweed.
-Tracks such as ‘For What You Dream Of’ and ‘Heaven Scent’ under the Bedrock banner and his own ‘Stoneage’ as Floorjam are widely regarded as classics, still played all over the world.
-Mr Muir’s music has been used extensively in film and both Nick & John have written scores for, amongst others, ‘Stark Raving Mad’ (Newmarket films) and ‘Spiderman - the new animated series’ which won a Dancestar award for Best Use of Music in a TV Show. ‘For What You Dream Of’ was famously used in the club scene of the phenomenally successful era defining film, ‘Trainspotting’.
-There have been countless other productions and remixes over the years including mixes for New Order, Underworld and The Orb.
-Nick is a virtuoso pianist, having studied from age 5 and subsequently at music college. This led him to make a living as a session musician for the first part of his career, playing piano organ and keyboards with many and varied artists, including Jake Burns (Stiff Little Fingers), Take That and The Men They Couldn’t Hang.
-Nick has worked closely with legendary indie producer Pat Collier (Wonderstuff, Primal Scream), as well as contributing to countless recordings as a keyboard player and programmer.
-Nick now works almost exclusively out of his own studio deep in the Hertfordshire countryside, is still heavily involved with dance music and also increasingly in the world of film and TV advertising.
The saxophonist Simeon Jones was the link between Nick and John D meeting. So if it wasn’t for him where would we be now?

Low Pressings is proud to have such an astute producer now amongst it’s ranks and intends to utilize his talents further in up and coming releases.
