News from the Born To Dance camp

It looks like the last quarter of 2007 is going to be extremely busy for the Brighton-based label, Born To Dance.

Label honcho Gav McCall joins forces with Paul Emanuel (of Haji & Emanuel fame), DJ Jamesie and the vocalist Rita Campbell for a house reworking of Delerium’s trance classic ‘In This Silence’.

Mixes come from the ubiquitous Raul Rincon, Chris Kaeser and Karl G, with Data Records licensing for a full release.

The follow-up is already complete and sees McCall & Emanuel joining up with powerhouse vocalist Katherine Ellis (UK’s Loleatta Holloway if you will) for the sure fire funky electro winner ‘Gotta Get Through’ mixed by Smax & Gold and Wesley S.

The label will round off the year with Nowak’s anthemic house offering ‘Stand Up’.

4/4 beats laced with D’Layna’s soulful vocals and disco riffs “borrowed” from A Taste Of Honey’s disco favourite ‘Boogie Oogie Oogie’, that you can hear now exclusively on Beatport.
